Wheel-chair bound and disabled citizen rely heavily on these concrete curbs and ramps to safely get on and off sidewalks. With the Neighborhood Improvements project, disabled citizens not only get new ramps in their communities, but also improved ramps that are already there.

THE CHALLENGE
“Many residents living near corners of the street experienced noise disruptions from the jack-hammering and complained about it being very loud and disturbing. Crews did their best to work fast at removing the existing concrete, and could typically get it removed in a single day.
