In 2019, YPMO was selected by the City of Peoria to provide PIO services for their Residential Mill and Overlay Project in various communities. The scope of the work included utility adjustments, asphalt milling and paving, cement base treatment, speed hump installations, and street striping/pavement markings. YPMO assisted the contractor, ViaSun Corporation, with public outreach by preparing and distributing construction notice postcard mailers and various updates, as needed.

YPMO provided direct contact with area schools and businesses, and maintained a project information hotline. The team took calls to  assist residents with parking and delivery logistics, access, coordinated shuttling to and from vehicles during the cement treatment phase of the work,  assisted in locating towed vehicles, addressing clean-up requests, and forwarding other street maintenance requests, concerns and complaints to city staff. Thanks to the effective communication and coordination between the City, contractor, and YPMO, this project was completed swiftly and successfully.
