2012 – Sunland Asphalt – City of Phoenix Street Transportation Department Pavement Surface Treatment Services JOC

Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC and Matt Johnson selected YPMO as their sub-consultant for public information services under their new contract for the City of Phoenix Street Transportation Department Pavement Surface Treatment Services JOC. The initial work consisted of applying approximately 935,000 pounds of crack seal material to streets throughout the city of Phoenix as a maintenance measure to prevent further deterioration of the pavement and to extend the life of the road.

Throughout this contract, YPMO provided PIO services for residences and businesses on hundreds of locations throughout Phoenix. We reviewed schedules weekly and prepared construction notices and door hangers for Sunland to distribute. We maintained a project information hotline and communication log; we assisted residents with parking and delivery logistics, business access, locating towed vehicles, driveway clean-up requests, and resolving other street maintenance requests, concerns, and complaints.

Now, 12 years later, we still enjoy working with Sunland’s various project teams on many municipal street maintenance contracts! Thank you for keeping YPMO and Angela Garcia busy (over 7 of those years)!
