In 2010, YPMO was retained to design and produce banners for the Sunnyslope Historical Society’s Annual Palo Verde Festival. YPMO also provided outreach to the business community to promote the adoption of trees along Hatcher Road. In all, 10 businesses adopted trees that were planted that year. The festival included a ribbon cutting ceremony and gold shovel ceremony at a location where some of the trees were planted. The banners were installed at various locations to celebrate the festival.
