In 2010, YPMO was selected to provide Public Involvement Services during both design and construction services by Dibble Engineering, the project design engineer and construction oversite manager.

The program included installing approximately 65,000 linear feet of 8-inch sewer pipe within residential backyard easements throughout eight quarter sections in Scottsdale. The project included notifying and corresponding directly with residents to obtain right of entry and access to their property, and approximately 650 residents with manhole or clean out structures on their properties.

Two public open houses were held during project design. YPMO assisted during construction to notify residents about the project and asked for the public’s cooperation to restrict their water usage and plumbing during installation of the liner. Contractor coordination included project team members Insituform Technologies, Achen-Gardner Engineering and Pro-Pipe Professional Pipe Services.
