In 2018, YPMO provided emergency on-call PIO services to Achen-Gardner’s JOC for the City of Phoenix Water Services Department Emergency Sanitary Sewer Repair program (WS90500232). YPMO responded to four sewer pipe emergency repairs, quickly prepared notifications with traffic restrictions and anticipated schedule, and hand delivered to affected areas. Sewer repairs require bypass pump and pipe set up and take a larger footprint in major streets.

YPMO has continued to work on this for Brown and Caldwell as CA&I to the City from 2019 to present. YPMO responded to 15 emergency sewer repairs, quickly prepared notifications with traffic restrictions and anticipated schedule, and hand delivered to affected areas. A recent repair required the temporary closure of a shared use path south of the Loop 202 along the old Pecos Road alignment. Outreach included preparing notices for the various HOAs throughout Ahwatukee, producing and installing signs at the five entrances to the path along ADOT right-of-way, and installing and maintaining sandwich boards along the path over four months in 2024. YPMO also coordinated closely with City of Phoenix Street and Bike PIOs to communicate the closure information to the public who come from all over the state to use the path for training.
