ARROWHEAD SHORES SITE REHABILITATION WATER
WATER | REHABILITATION | RESIDENTIAL | TANK
Some projects in residential neighborhoods proceed so well that outreach efforts can be reduced to help City budgets.
This project includes the removal of the two water tanks, rehabilitation of the booster pump station and disinfection system, and an update to site security to allow more efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation.
YPMO’s work included sending out notices and conducting a public open house to provide information and exhibits about the project and respond to questions. Only two couples attended the public meeting.
This construction hotline was mostly quiet, thanks to additional security on the project site. In fact, the hotline has been so quiet, that the number was assigned to another project to reduce unnecessary costs to the City.
This project is ongoing and will continue through the Fall of 2020.

Effective communications lead to minimal challenges and quiet construction hotlines.
This project experienced a quiet construction hotline, so it was rolled into other City of Peoria projects as a money-saving strategy. The hotline operator asks appropriate questions so the YPMO team knows which project the call is regarding, so the caller isn’t inconvenienced or concerned that the City doesn’t know what’s going on.
