From 2014 to 2018, YPMO provided emergency on-call PIO services to Dibble as CA&I for the City of Phoenix Water Services Department Emergency Water Main program (WS85500346). YPMO responded to six water main emergency repairs, quickly prepared notifications with traffic restrictions and anticipated schedule, and hand delivered to affected areas.

From 2022 to present, YPMO provides emergency on-call PIO services to WaCo Contracting for the same project under the contractor’s JOC for the program. YPMO responded to seven water main emergency repairs over the years. Our staff quickly prepared notifications with traffic restrictions and anticipated schedule, and hand delivered to affected areas. Some repairs start with a call informing us that they will be installing a VMB with the hotline number that morning. YPMO quickly records a message to let the traveling public know what the situation is, any traffic restrictions, and the anticipated length of construction. Close coordination is required with the contractor and City staff to communicate quickly to the public in sensitive business areas or in front of homes and schools.
